Duty Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Technicians to monitor data center E&M operations during required shift duties to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the plant, equipment, facilities and related systems
  • Response to equipment/system performance to meet tenant’s Service Level Agreement
  • Coordinate with Operations Center to response tenant’s enquiries during incident and update status
  • Supervise technical team and contractors to carry out routine maintenance or emergency repair to restore tenant’s Service Level Agreement
  • Prepare operation report, emergency incident report and liaise with tenants on condition and performance of E&M installation
  • Shift Duty is required

 

Requirements:

  • Higher diploma in electrical or building services engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' solid experiences with critical plant duty which includes maintenance and repair
  • Familiar with UPS, Generator, Chiller, Air-Conditioning Unit and LV Switch Boards
  • Knowledge of different fire services systems and BMS will be an advantage
  • Strong leadership with good problem-solving skills
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet strict timeline
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Holder of Electrical Worker License Grade B or above is highly preferred
