Marketing Manager (Event)

Responsibilities: 

Event Marketing

    • Devise event marketing and budget plans to achieve company business goals, promote branding and products, generate leads, expand marketing database and strengthen client relationship
    • Develop and manage a wide range of professional events e.g. conferences/seminars, industry forums, expo, luncheon/dinners/receptions, product launch ceremony, webinars etc in Hong Kong or other target markets
    • Formulate creative tactics in terms of event formats, promotion, guest acquisition, themes, programs and hospitality functions to maximize ROI, ensure client satisfaction and strengthen brand image. Handle from event planning, management, online/ offline promotion, production to logistics of events to ensure timeliness, cost efficiency and quality
    • Proactively engage sales, product, strategy teams and other internal stakeholders to motivate their participation and to ensure the events can support their product and sales promotion effectively



Joint Promotion, Sponsorship & Corporate Membership

      • Explore and manage speaking and/ joint promotion activities to generate leads/networking opportunities and enhance exposure of the company brands / products

 

Database Management

      • Responsible for overall marketing database from contacts to leads

 

Overall Marketing Support
  • Administer departmental operations and coordination, including inventory and production of promotional materials and premium, storage, internal events etc to ensure smooth operations
  • Work closely with content and digital team, and assist various integrated marketing campaigns, including PR, social media and digital

Others
    • Support marketing activities involving industry and corporate events, digital and social media campaigns
    • Provide general support to daily operation of marketing team including database management, lead assignment, market research, report preparation, team coordination
 
 
 Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism/ Communications/ Marketing/ Language or related disciplines
    • Minimum 6 years’ proven track record in event marketing or related areas
    • Relevant experience in B2B IT industry is required
    • Strong understanding of IT industry event trends and best practices, and able to strategize and review effectiveness of different events and tactics
    • Experience in managing large scale events for VIP customers, media and government bodies is a plus
    • Strong project management, problem-solving and time management skills with can-do attitude
    • Creative mind with the ability to formulate strategies and good understanding of data centre/ cloud industry
    • High level of independence, energy, integrity and attention to details with good business acumen
    • A strong sense of ownership with problem solving and decision-making skills
    • Good communications and interpersonal skills
    • Flexible, positive and able to work under pressure
    • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Chinese
